Crystal started playing paintball out of curiosity while in between her freshman and sophomore years of high school. Six
years later, she is now a manager for a private security contractor and a member of the Minnesota National Guard (34th
Infantry Division)
Crystal has a natural skill for paintball, especially in the woods, that comes from years of hunting in the North Woods
of Minnesota. A hunter since the age of 6, Crystal is very much at home in the woods. The US Army Sniper School says that
they like to select applicants who were hunters from Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Minnesota because they have an unequalled advantage
in the woods. They weren't kidding...
During the 2004 Oklahoma D-Day game, Crystal was a member of the newly-formed elite "Ghost Squad".
In 2005, Crystal returned to the now infamous sniper unit (renamed the "Ghost Sniper/Reconnaisance Unit), and was granted
the rank of Master Sergeant. During the game, Crystal was charged with slowing down or halting any counter-attack between
the Airfield and Firebase Alpha. Though she was greatly outnumbered, the Ghosts held off the enemy until Ace, Fallen, and
Peachez returned, taking only 2 casualties and giving a mere 30 feet of ground!
