Sniping is an art. Sniping in paintball is a very difficult art to master, even without the fact that most people don't even believe they exist.
 
Though many people will disagree, snipers do exist in paintball, and do serve a purpose. The real problem, however, revolves around 2 areas of ignorance...
 
1: People don't know what a paintball sniper truly is, or what he is capable of.
 
2: People claim to be paintball snipers, when they have no idea what the role really consists of.
 
In this section, I will define very simply what a paintball sniper is, what he is capable of, how best to implement him, and give links to other articles about the subject.

 
 
 
How to utilize a sniper team
 

No true paintball sniper should ever think that they know it all. You should always be on the lookout for new technology and strategies to improve your game. Listen to others, and read their tips for sniping. Even if you disagree and don't take their advice, you get to know your enemies a little better...
